Her Excellency Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, President of Argentina, gave an engaging address discussing Argentina and the global economy. The President addressed the current state of Argentina’s economy in relationship to key intergovernmental institutions and global markets. She emphasized the recent administration’s roll in the overall improvement of Argentina’s economy. Additionally, the President discussed the current set-backs in Argentina, which she contended partially stemmed from the recent world economic crisis and global interconnected. Harvard Kennedy School Dean David Ellwood opened and moderated the event.
